I'd been hoping to check out Oriental city out for a few months now but it wasn't until a failed attempt at St Josephs Collage that we decided to head over and check it out.. The shopping centre which specialised in oriental foods closed on 1 June 2008 and has layed there disused since.

Used to go there a lot, absolute travesty that the place was closed down...
ReplyDeleteDon't suppose you got any shots of the food court and supermarket? Or was it too dark in there with the power off? (i seem to remember there not being any windows in those parts)...
On the other hand, while it looks a bit grubby it doesn't seem to be beyond repair... Would really love to see it reopened!
GOing on a little expedition here soon, maybe this weekend :)
